Who this covers
These terms cover this website and the apps sold on it. “I” and “me” mean Heion Labs.
Buying
Purchases are handled by an online payment provider, named at checkout. They act as the seller of record: they take your payment, collect any sales tax or VAT, and send your receipt. Their terms apply to the payment itself. I receive your name, email, country and order details so I can support you.
Your licence
When you buy an app you get a personal, non-exclusive licence to use it on your own devices, for as long as you like. You may not resell it, share your licence key, remove or bypass licence checks, or redistribute the app. If you need to use an app across a team or company, email me and we'll sort it out. How many devices a key can be activated on is shown on the app's page.
Updates
Unless an app's page says otherwise, every purchase includes 12 months of updates from the date you buy. After that you can keep using the newest version released during your update period, forever.
You can renew updates for another 12 months at the reduced price shown on the app's page. Renewal is optional, and I will never charge you automatically. Critical security fixes for the version you own stay free for as long as I still maintain that version.
App stores
Apps distributed through Google Play, an app store or a similar service are also subject to that store's rules. If updates work differently there, the app's page will say so.
Refunds
You can get a refund within 14 days of buying. See the refund policy.
If I stop developing an app
If I stop developing an app, you keep your licence and the last version you have. I'll say so on the app's page.
No warranty, limited liability
Apps are provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, I'm not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and my total liability for any app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any consumer rights you have that cannot legally be excluded.
Using the apps and site fairly
Don't misuse the site, attack it, or reverse engineer the apps except where the law lets you.
Privacy
How I handle information is described on the privacy page.
Changes
I may update these terms. Changes never reduce the rights you already have for something you've bought.
