Block Warfare Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Block Warfare for Meta Quest (“the App”) handles, why, and how you can have it deleted. Block Warfare is made by Heion Labs (“we,” “us,” or “our”), and we are the data controller for the information described here.
1. Who we are
Heion Labs develops and publishes Block Warfare.

2. Information the App handles
| Information | Where it comes from | Why it is used |
|---|---|---|
| Proof that you own the App (entitlement check) | Meta Horizon | To confirm your copy was bought from the Meta Horizon Store. Meta answers yes or no; the App does not read your name, avatar, friends or other Meta account details. |
| Online match information: your IP address, region, the match you join, your player number, your avatar skin, and what you do in the match (movement, shots, blocks placed and broken, score) | Your headset, while you play online | To connect you to other players and keep the match in sync for everyone in it. This runs through Photon (see section 4). We do not store it ourselves. |
| Your worlds, settings and game progress | Your play | Saved on your headset so you can continue where you left off. If Cloud Backup is on for your headset, Meta keeps a backup copy in your Meta account (downloaded mods and caches are left out). |
| Anything you send us by email | You | To answer your question or support request. |
3. What the App does not collect
- No microphone use and no voice chat.
- No camera images or recordings of your room.
- No analytics, no advertising and no tracking across apps.
- Other players do not see your Meta name: online you appear as a player number with the avatar skin you chose.
- We do not sell your personal information.
4. Who we share information with
- Meta Platforms, which checks that you own the App and runs Cloud Backup, under Meta’s Privacy Policy.
- Photon (Exit Games), which runs online multiplayer connections for us as a service provider, under Photon’s Privacy & Cookie Policy.
- Other players in your online match see your player number, your avatar skin and what you do in the match.
We do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing. We will share information when required by law; we have not received any requests from public authorities.
5. Data retention
We do not keep player data on our own servers. Online match information is used only while the match runs; Photon keeps its own connection records under its policy. Your worlds and settings stay on your headset (and in your Meta Cloud Backup, if on) until you delete them. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to help you.
6. Your choices and deletion requests
You can delete your worlds and settings by uninstalling the App, and manage Cloud Backup copies in your Meta account settings. To ask about or request deletion of any information we hold about you, email hello@heionlabs.com. We will reply within 30 days. Data controlled by Meta (your account and purchases) is managed through your Meta account settings.
7. Children’s privacy
Block Warfare is not directed to children under 13 (or the digital age of consent in your region, if higher). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
8. International users
We are based in the United States. Your information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where Meta and Photon operate.
9. Changes to this policy
If the App starts handling new information, or we change how we use it, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date at the top before the change takes effect.
